Alexia D. Harris is an executive leader with 15 years of experience in developing and implementing comprehensive change and communication strategies to facilitate positive business results and fostering associate engagement to enhance the potential of talent and organizations. As a valued business partner, she has extensive leadership development and inclusive diversity experience in various industries, including academic institutions, government organizations, health care systems and Fortune 100 companies.
Aside from her professional accomplishments, Alexia is committed to empowering people and advancing her community, which is shown through her personal values in which govern her life: integrity, leadership and service. For more than 10 years, she has provided academic, career and financial literacy counseling to students and professionals and developed ways that medical institutions can better communicate to improve patient safety. She also taught English as a Second Language, GED and workplace development courses for more than a decade. In each instance, Alexia has proven herself to be committed to helping people from all socioeconomic backgrounds thrive and be victorious.
As a native Ohioan, Alexia possesses a Master of Science in Positive Organization Development and Change from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Kent State University. Additionally, Alexia is a Certified Executive Coach and holds certifications in Emotionally Intelligent Leadership, Appreciative Inquiry in Positive Business and Societal Change and Emotional and Social Competency Inventory (ESCI).
